Valley Vision TV News is proud to bring you 2 one hour presentations of forums with the candidates for the House of Delegates for the 17th and 8th districts.  In October Greg sat down with Gwen Mason, Bill Cleaveland, Morgan Griffith and Carter Turner to ask them about current issues, their intentions and why they want to represent us in Richmond.  Greg also gave the candidates a fun US Constitution quiz.  Many thanks to the Salem-Roanoke Chamber of Commerce who graciously allowed us to film in their conference room and to Thompson's Quality Clothes for Greg's wardrobe. Below, you will find the schedule for television viewing or you can click the candidates picture to view their segment online.

The candidates for the 8th district are Morgan Griffith and Carter Turner.  Morgan Griffith is the current representative for Salem and Roanoke County and he is the House Majority Leader.  Carter Turner is an Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Radford University.

The election is over and Morgan Griffith was the winner in the 8th District.
