A Look at the Tea Party Patriots In April of 2009 small groups of American all over the country gathered on Tax Day to protest high taxes and big government. Roanoke, Lynchburg, Franklin County and other localities around the state continued to gather under the name Tea Party Patriots. Valley Vision News has covered several of their events including the rally on July 4th 2009 in Roanoke's Elmwood Park.
